Here are some of my favorite shots taken of Jon Ayala during his portrait session last weekend. Jon has a love for classic cars and featured his Cobra in this special session. A special thank you to Jon for allowing me to photograph him in some pretty cool spots around Downtown, Fresno. I love having the privilege of shooting creative portraits. The reason why is that I have more time to travel to different places and all while making my client as comfortable as possible. I would also like to give a special thank you to my husband, Dick. I love being able to work with my husband and reflect ideas off one another…

Congratulations to John and Alicia Chavarria and their beautiful wedding this month! Dick and I had a wonderful time shooting their wedding which took place in Sanger, CA. This family was incredible. Many members getting footage with their own cameras, phones, and even iPads! I can’t want to share these moments with their family and it was a pleasure working with John and Alicia. Just a few months ago, Crystal and John had their own maternity shoot. Now… they welcome their precious boy, Eli to the world! Congratulations to them both as they take on the journey of being brand new parents… and proud ones. Here are a few of my favorites of their new bundle of joy.

This is what I would call the “Mad Men” shoot #2! Mr. De Leon’s first post was such a success, I decided to do another! Meet these two love birds, Alicia and John! One adorable couple would couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. Isn’t that sweet?! Alicia and John are getting married in less than a month and I have a feeling this wedding is going to be so much fun. With John’s sense of humor and Alicia’s sweetness, they do make a sweet pair. Introducing Gianna Lopez. The very adorable baby girl the Lopez Family were blessed with only a few weeks ago! The Lopez Family offered their home as a place to photograph Gianna. We were able to get some really nice photos and some fun ones by introducing her stuffed animals and parents soccer ball (which will be a good size comparison as she grows). This is my little sister, Nicole. The baby of us girls! Now she’s a young adult and loving the camera. Every year I try to do a new shoot for her. This helps me experience with different lighting techniques and she doesn’t mind because she’s getting some cool photos for herself. She’ll probably post these on her wall and show off to her friends 24/7. haha! Anyhow, I love her and Nicole has grown in to a beautiful woman. Enjoy these fun pics!

Our good friends have already celebrated an entire year with their wonderful Clark! Like I’ve said a billion times… our children grow way to fast! We decided that the park close to home was the best for his first shoot, and we were right. Clark loved climbing the steps and going down the slides! Here are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy! Katrina happens to be my lovely sister and this is her gift from me each year… a photo shoot of her and her boyfriend, Andrew! They are such a lovely couple and fun to work with each time. This time their session happened to get rained on, but that didn’t stop MJD photography from doing it’s job! Enjoy their pics!

Meet Crystal and John! These soon to be parents will be welcoming their baby boy (Eli) in January! Crystal and John are such a sweet couple and a pleasure to work with. Their photo shoot took place on a beautiful day at Woodward Park. While there, we got to take some pics with the ducks… and feed them! It was such a pleasure meeting them both. I will see them again soon when I get to photograph Eli next year! Eli will be such a wonderful new year gift to them both. Enjoy some of my favorites!

Well, it’s that time of the year when families come together for their Christmas card photo shoots! This time, it’s the boys. The Mather Boys! Fans of soccer and The Walking Dead, these two were able to show me their skills and chat a bit about school and walkers. Eeeew! Only the Walking Dead fans know what I’m talking about. Yay! The Garza Family have allowed me to take their family photos each year for their Christmas card and it’s gotta be one of the shoots I wait for each year. The kids are bigger and funnier each time. They just know how to have a good time during their sessions. Andrew, Ava, and Adam are all beautiful and smart kids. They make me laugh each time. Through all the funny moments there’s one thing that I never miss… the love for one another. Here are some of my favs and some funny ones! Can’t leave those out.
